Have searched all over for hours….

  • Hello everyone I’m having a problem here is a copy of a post someone already put up here and my problem is alot similar. Hello WordPress community –

    So here is my problem. I am a relative newbie on wordpress. I have installed the latest version to a root directory on a GoDaddy hosting account. The admin section works fine. except that when you click the blog title link on the top left it goes to a default GoDaddy “welcome.html” page. I tried changing the wordpress and site URL in the general settings tab on the admin page which then locked me out of my own admin. So uninstalled and re-installed wordpress again to the same result. I deleted the GoDaddy file from my root directory and am still having the same problem. PLEASE HELP!!!

    Ok MY PROBLEM is I had a website running off of an index.html file uploading to the root / directory of a godaddy hosted acount. Everything is installed and I can acces the admin fine but when I actually go to my site getmoneyquick.us i’m still seeing the same old html that doesn’t even exist on the host server anymore!! Please help

  • It’s showing a WordPress site for me.

    Yep, I can see a WordPress blog too but there is no header displayed, only a green coloured field (but maybe that’s what you were aiming at)

    same here when mouse over your website title it going to your site so only thing could be is that you are still in cache press Ctrl+Enter to hard refresh.
