• Hi,

I’m trying to figure out how to display all my posts just as numbers and display them at the bottom of my site.

I don’t want to show the post title or anything. Just numbers and next, previous, like this:

    Prev: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, Next:

The search “show posts as number list” is a bit generic and so can’t find anything specific.

    If anyone can help please?

    Thanks a lot,

    ??

Are you trying to ask about Post Navigation ? WP-PageNavi Plugin is almost the standard. Here are screenshots :

“show posts as number list” is too much difficult to be understood. If the above is not what you are looking for; then kindly draw an image or something like that and upload it somewhere to make the thing understandable ??

on the number there will be link of the post?

Yeah, the number will be a link to that post.

Nothing to do with the post’s dynamic url number though.

you can use query to get this just start count with 1 and increase count with 1 in loop and echo count and in a href of count enter the_permalink(); and for next and previous button just give next_posts_link and previous_posts_link.
    that’s all

Thanks Abhishek Ghosh, I think that’s what I wanted. I’ll test it.

Well, I tried PageNavi, but it seems to only work for the entire listing of posts and doesn’t display on individual posts.

I would like the numerical list of posts to appear on each post. Is that possible?

    Thanks again

Well, I tried PageNavi, but it seems to only work for the entire listing of posts and doesn’t display on individual posts.

That is normal. Entire listing of the posts is meaningless to both the visitor and Search Engines. We (publishers) provide the way to go through the Category or Tag pages (Taxonomy pages) to the visitors.

You can use Yet Another Related Post Plugin to show a list with or without excerpt. A Post is kind of Landing page for a blog.
