• Dear,

I’m using the JetBlog plugin to build custom templates for my shows. It’s a terrific powerful plugin with which you can build any layout you dream of, but whenever I want to load my custom meta info, like the price or the purchase link, it’s not showing up.

I found that the meta is saved in a different ‘post’. Where the event has the ID 23, the Meta is saved on ID 24.. JetBlog has no option to load the meta from a different post, so I was wondering if it’s possible with Theater to force the meta under the same ID. This would help greatly with building templates.

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Hi!

The meta is stored with a different post ID because it is actually attached to a different post. Internally every event can have multiple dates. Prices and ticketing links are attached to the dates, not the events. The simples way to display this information is by using the [wpt_production_events] shortcode on the page of the event.

Another option would be to create a custom widget for the Elementor page builder. But this would require writing some custom code.

Thanks for the fast and clear reply. I’ve actually was able to create what I’ve designed within 2 hours using the your template functions!

A tip: I wanted the Thumbnail to be full size, and the shortcode page had no mention of this. I found it buried somewhere in the change-log {{thumbnail(‘large’)}}. This could well be mentioned on the shortcode page, very useful!
