    Hi,

    It’s my first time using WordPress (I know coding and template based info), but I’m lost. I am using my website for a personal portfolio and I want to delete the social media buttons, but I can’t find how to get rid of them for the life of me. Can someone please help me??

    Thank you!!

    Hello,

    Please:

    1) open Theme Customizer
    2) Navigate to a single post item in the preview
    3) Under section “Post display” please uncheck social icons
    4) save the settings

    Hello,

    Oh gosh, I completely missed that, thank you so much I appreciate it very much!!

    Hello, I have a similar problem.
    I use WordPress v.4.2.3. I went to Appearance > Customize but there is no “single post item”.

    @test1259:

    The most important in my description is point 2)

    1) open Theme Customizer
    2) Navigate to a single post item in the preview
    3) Under section “Post display” please uncheck social icons
    4) save the settings

    Because the post display section has an active callback only on the single post items.

    Sorry, but I can not find this item at “Customize” page. Currently, I have only:
    * Site Title & Tagline
    * Colors
    * Background Image
    * Navigation
    * Widgets
    * Static Front Page
    * Font options
    * Layout & Features
    * Effects
    * Advanced settings

    Thank you in advance.

    Did you opened single post view in the right part of the theme customizer? Then the post display section will appear on the left side.
