have another page display posts instead of home page

I want to have my posts displayed onto another page (a separate blog page) instead of the home page. I have selected the option of disabling posts on the home page, but when creating pages there is no template option that displays posts (all other themes that I have seen have this option but I really like this theme and want to use it). Someone please help cause I have tried everything…
