Have an API key, Thumbnail Image not displaying

Hello,
I have this widget in the footer, left hand side.
The thumbnail Image is not showing in Chrome nor IE. The only thing showing is text “Click to open a larger map”. I have an API key. When I click, a map does open correctly. It’s just the thumbnail. I have tried
1) adjusting the pixel size of the thumbnail (I have left all other widget settings at the Defaults).
2) emptying the browser Cache
3) tested the above in both browsers on two different desktops
Same result.

I was having the exact same problem. Here is the fix:
– Browse to the Google API dashboard and select your Project
– Next to the heading (APIs and Services), click on the +Enable APIs and Services
– In the left ‘filter’ column, click on MAPS
– Click on the box that says “Maps Static API”
– Click on the blue “Enable” buttonShould be working after this.
