    Dear Ben,

we love your theme and are planning on using it for a blog on writing and screenwriting. However we will have plenty of categories and subcategories, and regcognized that your drop-down menu visually sort of vanishes in front of the content, because they have got the same white background.

Do you have an idea how to solve this? I suppose there is a way to change the background color of the drop-down menu somewhere in the css, but I can’t find it. And I fear that it would hurt the beauty of the theme. Is there a way to get one of the neat yellow bars just benath the last entry in every drop-down menu? Is this a way not to hurt the beauty of the theme?

    Best,

    Arno

    Arno,

Thanks for the kind words ??

This has come up a few times, so I’m going to build a solution into Ignite. The next version is going to include a drop shadow on the menu items like this: https://i.imgur.com/HQ3zs2D.png

If that looks good to you then on the next update the issue will be solved on its own. Otherwise, I can help you write the CSS to modify the menus on your site.
