    I am a member of the online gaming community hattrick.org, and we have been provided the use of wordpress blogs for our virtual football teams for several years.

    My query is regarding the embedding of youtube videos in the sidebar widget. At some point in the past, this was possible using iframe coding. I know this, because having two virtual football teams I also have two hattrick united blogs. On one of them I have a successfully embedded youtube video. This code will not work on the other blog at all.

    The first link is my main team blog, and I would love to be able to embed youtube videos in the sidebar using a html-markup widget. The second link is to my subsidiary team, and you will see there is a youtube video embedded in the sidebar (top right).

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Can you please paste the iframe code in the widget area and then I can check what is the issue.

    Above is the code that works on the Lost Saxons blog link I provided. It was written some time back, and never changed since saving on the widget. I’d now like to add a similar widget to my Flaming Wodkas blog (link provided), but this code vanishes when pasted into the widget and clicking save.
