Hatom Feed Error – Is there a way to fix this?

I see the errors https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.southfloridavanlines.com%2F, but there’s no review schema from Testimonials in your HTML source at https://southfloridavanlines.com/.

I tested my own site, Aihr.us with and without testimonials and got the same error set as you. Weird.

I’ve listed this as an issue at https://github.com/michael-cannon/testimonials-widget/issues/43. I’ll look into further during this upcoming week.

Has there been an update on this?

There’s a beta in testing that resolves this problem. Release should happen within a few days.

Has the release of the version that fixes this been released yet? I just found out that by deactivating this plugin Rich Snippets is finally working. This leaves me without my testimonials on my site.

The came out yesterday.

I’m still getting these errors, but we are on the latest version of the plugin. Any ideas?

Those hatom errors are off of your content, because testimonials schema isn’t active. For widgets, you need to enable schema.

You’re right, it wasn’t.

However, I’m confident these are coming from the widget/plugin;

1. The errors disappear when the widget is made inactive
2. there are 6 sets or errors, we have 6 testimonials.

Switching the schema on doesn’t seem to clear the errors.

Those errors are not from the testimonials plugin. They’re part of your theme.

Per https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?q=http%3A%2F%2Fcapitalcityelectrical.co.uk%2Fabout, the review schema is solid. Look for the first item of item type https://schema.org/review.

– I’ve disabled the plugin, but left our current theme running – the errors disappear.

– I’ve also tried switching to the default wordpress 2014 theme, but leaving the plugin running – the errors do appear.

Having a hard time getting to the bottom of this. Not convinced our theme is causing it, the above should confirm that.

What happens if you disable Testimonials Widget?

The errors disappear if I disable the plugin, as does the widget obviously.
