• I have installed and set up the hashtag cloud extension. However, I am not sure that the functions to determine the “Required Number of Tweets” and/or “Required Number of Users” are working properly. In fact once the tag is displayed, I do not think the function to “Show how many tweets mentioned the hash tags when on mouse hover.” on the Title Attribute is working properly either. The numbers being returned do not reflect the actual reality of the hashtags. I have hashtags that are trending on Twitter showing as only being used by one user or on one tweet, which is not correct. Am I missing something?

    Hi,

The Hashtag templates counts items from the fetched results, not from the whole data stored in the Twitter API server.

Let’s say, you create a rule by screen name, up to 200 tweets can be fetched. And if you show tweets of that rule with the Hashtag template, the counts are reflected only from 200 tweets.

I hope this clears it up a bit. I guess you are trying to do something advanced. The template just lists hashtags from the fetched results. It does nothing more than that.

Regarding the issue of the title attribute, I could not confirm any problem. You may describe an expected result and the actual behavior.
