Hashes with */

I use bitnami wordpress VM images all the time.

Sometimes the auto generated hashes in wp-config have */ in them. So, part of the hash is commented out. Including all the hash parameters that come after it.

It never seems to break anything but just seems odd.

Anyone else see this? if you use the wordpress official hash generator, does it not do this?

Can you just sub in any random character to correct it? It must cause some problem.
