I added Amazon AWS CDN plugin (version 1.3.2) to a site running with PMPro and BuddyPress (teae.emergent.rocks — a staging site)
Upon activation I get this error:

Notice: has_cap was called with an argument that is deprecated since version 2.0.0! Usage of user levels is deprecated. Use capabilities instead. in /home/tigerseast/public_html/teae/wp-includes/functions.php on line 4115

Not sure what it means or what to do with it

    WP version 5.0.3
    PHP 7.0.33

    Thanks

I also notice this when I go to the settings page for the plugin

Notice: Undefined variable: cdnminttl in /home/tigerseast/public_html/teae/wp-content/plugins/aws-cdn-by-wpadmin/admin/wpa-aws-cdn-admin.php on line 16

Notice: Undefined variable: cdnmaxttl in /home/tigerseast/public_html/teae/wp-content/plugins/aws-cdn-by-wpadmin/admin/wpa-aws-cdn-admin.php on line 17

    Thanks

    Thanks @kerchmcc

I hope that notice is not affecting the functionality of the plugin ??

We will fix it in next minor release.

@kerchmcc could you disable the plugin and see if you still get the has_cap notice?

I checked the plugin and it does not contain has_cap

Undefined variable undefined variable fixed in ver 1.3.3

has_caps is not in the plugin code.

If i disable the plugin the error goes away
HOWEVER, when the plugin is activated, the media library becomes empty and no new content can be added.
When I deactivate the plugin, the media comes back.
I’m seeing the second error code also at the top of the view details page.
