Has the shortcode method for this plugin been abandoned?

The shortcode method doesn’t support all the options the widget does, such as title. Will the shortcode capabilities be made the same as for the widget, or has the shortcode method for this plugin been abandoned? Same situation for Testimonials. Thanks.
