    Hi,

I’m working on an already exisiting CPT, I change the “has archive” to false and it’s still showing the archive and not the page I want. I tried deleting the archive-{post-type}.php file and refreshing the permalinks and just shows the default archive page.

    Help!!

    Thanks in advance,
    Tim

Is this existing CPT registered with CPTUI? or is it registered by something else?

If it’s not registered with CPTUI, then our plugin is likely not going to have any effect on it, as we don’t pick up on other plugin’s/theme’s post types.

If it is all registered with CPTUI, then I’ll need to dig in a bit more.

It is an existing CPT registered with CPTUI. Does CPTUI show non CPTUI registered CPTs?

    Thanks for you help!!

Sorry, I just found that the site I was asked to work on had another plugin that was causing the issue (I think, I still need to test/delete etc)

It used to display, but not edit, non-CPTUI types/taxonomies, but not since version 0.8.x.

Sounds like you may have found a lead on things since that reply though ??

Yeah I fixed it, there was a plugin installed called Post Type Archives (how did I miss that?!?!) that was forcing the archive page.
Sorry for wasting your time, always a challenge when taking over someone else’s site.

No problem, I’m glad you got things figured out.
