• Hi There

I wonder if anyone can advise please?

I have a few websites i want to get up and running using WordPress but not finding it easy to find themes that I like – my first one is a wedding theme. Preferably I would like to use someone trusted on this website.

I have however, come across some I like at https://www.leadcamp.com and wondered if anyone has any experience of them?

My main concern is that they offer ‘robust’ themes that are search engine friendly. As a newbie to WordPress I wonder if most I find on the internet are likely to be ok?

Any expert advise on what I should be looking for etc would be very welcome.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi There

Me Again. I’m assuming nobody has any experience of leadcamp?

I emailed them before adding my first post but so far have not received an answer – so not impressed so far.

I have found some free themes I like, but most of them seem to be on ‘generic’ template websites where they offer nothing about themselves and no contact details.

Before I download anything I would like to know something about the web owner, ensure the quality of the theme (e.g. seo friendly) and that I’m not downloading any ‘nasties’ like viruses.

Can anyone offer any guideance on that please? Is it something I should be worrying about or are most of these sites ok? Should I be looking out for certain things?

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks very much.

I wouldn’t trust their themes. I just downloded one a checked out the source code.

They have base 64 encoded footer spam links in the footer.

They also have various functions in the functions.php file to not allow you to remove those links.

Basically, it means you would have a very hard time customizing the theme since you don’t have much control over it. Plus why woud you want someone else’s spam links on your site?

    Hi Rvoodoo

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes I did play around with that footer but not knowing php I couldn’t remove the footer links myself.

You can for $19.95 have the sponsored links removed, but as I am going to be hosting about 10 very simple sites that gets a little expensive each time. If it were half that price I wouldn’t mind.

It’s a shame because they have some brilliant designs, indeed, some of the best I’ve seen. I’ve just noticed they have another site https://www.FreeWordpressThemes4u.com where they highlight them all.

I would much prefer to just install the designs from this website but unfortunately most of them don’t appeal to me (sorry designers) ??

    Anyway, thanks again.
