Has anyone else got this plugin working with 2.6?

Hi all. Quick question. Has anyone else got the plugin Post By Author by Dagon Design to work with 2.6?

I know the plugin says up to 2.5.
Ive contacted the author, no reply.
I really want this plugin to work. If anyone else knows how to edit it to work with 2.6, please please please help out here.
