“has a value” and GDPR Cookie Consent don’t work together

    Dear Daan,
    I set up GDPR Cookie Consent plugin as well as your fantastic plugin but they don’t get on well: if your plugin is set to “if cookie has a value – yes” there is no tracking. Only if it is set to “always”.
    I’m having a conversation with the author of the GDPR Cookie Consent plugin but lately he said that the combination works for them so if it doesn’t work for me, I should contact you…
    Do you have any suggestion what the problem can be?

    Have you specified the Cookie name? It’s supposed to be set to ‘viewed_cookie_policy’.

    Dear Daan,
    The name is correct, just the way it is described in your tutorial.
    Unfortunately the plugin doesn’t work after hitting the Accept button. (only if it is set to Always).
    I hope you can help me.

    Dear Daan,
    I checked once more your tutorial with the settings.
    I zoomed on the very small picture of the settings where I saw that the exact way for the cookie name is viewed_cookie_policy without ‘ ‘ quotation marks. The same applies to the yes value.
    Now the plugin works.
    Could you please provide higher resolution pictures for your tutorials – It could have saved a lot of time…
