Has a couple of gotchas

  • I like this theme. It’s lightweight and easy to customize for the most part, except if you want to customize the archive page or how the divider appears in the menu. It doesn’t follow some of the WordPress standards, like allowing key functions to be overridden or storing the key theme functions in the theme directory’s functions.php file.

    Thanks for the rating. Just want to clarify the following:

    Every functions in WIND are child theme friendly (i.e. it can be either overridden or has a filter). As WIND is a complex theme and supports all future theme development, not all functions are in functions.php (sorry for that).
