    Hi!

WP latest (6.6.1). Theme named “Total”. If you go to you’ll see this page wide image and below it the header “home”.

From start, the header sat above the image. I wanted it below (as it is now). For a quick fix, I simply made the container “relative” with the image as background and a set height to 33vh, then set the header as absolute at the bottom. Since that was kind of a cheating hack, I aimed to properly fix it eventually.

Which I have tried now to no avail. So obviously, I’m doing something wrong, not understanding how WP works.

Have moved the header text codes of container and h1 (incl php) to the place I want it in file wp-content -> themes -> total -> inc -> hooks -> single.php (as this was only file I found containing relevant code) and saved. But when viewing site, it remains as before. As does source code.

Have emptied all caches in WP and browsers, even checked database to see if old code was saved there. No go.

Can someone please tell me what mistakes I make?

(Oh, I know updating the theme will override my edits. But I won’t update as long as it works and have hence deactivated all update notifications. I’m old school) ??

    Cheers,
    Dan

Me again. Found the solution. Editing the single.php turned out to be wrong. But doing the same to wp-content -> themes -> total -> inc -> hooks -> woocommerce.php (plus a few css changes) made it look like a want.

    HI,

Good to know that you found the solution your self.

    Thanks
