Happy holidays from the team at Wordfence!

We have customers near and far from all walks of life and cultures who celebrate different things. As a US based company we observe the holiday schedule here. This weekend we are celebrating Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving means different things to different people. We choose to use it as a time to remember and reflect, to appreciate our friends and families no matter how far away they are right now. We choose to use it to remember why we started this company many years ago. Mark and Kerry started Wordfence to help people recover their sites from being hacked, something Mark had just had to deal with personally. Since then, when Mark wrote the original Wordfence code, we have grown into a formidable security solution that includes a malware scanner, firewall, 2FA, and more. We’ve been able to provide most of the features in Wordfence for free. We’re thankful that we are able to help over 3 million users secure their sites so that they too can celebrate their chosen holidays instead of struggling to fix a site that has been compromised.

Most of all we’re grateful for you, our customers. As Lead Customer Service Engineer, I have looked at a fair number of your sites when you have had questions or problems. It’s impossible not to see the love and care that you put into them. We want to thank you for trusting us to help protect your home on the web. We want to thank you for stopping by at WordCamps and talking to us, and for your comments and suggestions, even if they weren’t always positive.

In order to give our team time to rest and connect with their friends and loved ones – even if it is only virtually – we’ll be officially closed Thursday November 26th and Friday November 27th. There will be staff checking in, but response times may be slower than normal.

We hope that regardless of how you observe the holiday, you are able to take some time to pause and reflect as well. Thanks for your support, love, and for allowing us to serve you.
