Hangs when sending mail

Sorry I forgot to mention. I’m using MailPoet 3 version 3.8. I’m using it on WP version 4.9.7 with theme twenty-seventeen. There are no other plugins active because I use this website only for MailPoet.

Thanks to the splendid help of the MailPoet support:

They found out that after hitting the ‘send’ button the website did a redirect to https://www.domain.xx instead of https://domain.xx

It was generating a javascript error and hence the browser was hanging on the loading animation.

Resolution: In WP general settings both the website addres and URL change from https://domain.xx to https://www.domain.xx

And now problem is solved. I hope this message can benefit others too.
