    Restore is just not working for me either. Just hangs. Any suggestions?

    Hi schooladvice,

    How large is the file that you are importing?
    Have you tried all the steps I posted above;

    1. While on restoring database, leave it running for 15 minutes.
    2. After 15 minutes, open another tab and try to login to wp-admin with WP Admin username/password of the exported site
    3. Go to settings -> permalinks and save the permalink structure
    4. Go to All in one WP Migration – Export page and click on Turn Off Maintenance
    At this point the website should be successfully migrated.

    hi there,

    My DB Importing is hanging too, my file is “only” 15MB and it’s hanging on restoring database.

    It’s been hanging since last night, so far 12 hours. I have tried to open a new tab and login but i get a white screen of death which means i have to install WP again — not ideal.

    My hosting is: IXWebhosting

    i didnt use and find and replace when creating the export.

    Why is this marked as resolved when it’s still happening to people? Tried everything above, even did a clean install of WP and tried with that, and issues remains so certainly not resolved.

    I am sorry but JimmyK, the one who posted/started this topic marked this as “resolved” since his issue was resolved after we released the new version.

    Did you use Find/Replace on export?
    How large is the file you are importing?

    18mb file. I ended up doing it manually by exporting/importing via phpmyadmin.

    Exporting is working fine, have never had an issue with that. But importing have had issues more often than not, and not huge databases.

    Okay, so whats the verdict now? I have used this plugin before, and I have had no problems. Now all of a sudden there are issues. I just dont understand. It always hangs on “Restoring Database”…

    I am trying to import a site from localhost to localhost. Its not working. I have used old versions and new versions of the plugin. I have made sure versions are the same on export and on import. The WP version is also the same. . . .so now whats that problem?

    I am not using any Find/Replace options. Just a simple export to file, and import from file…

    I have tried opening a new tab and going to wp-admin, but i get “Object not found”. I cannot access anything. Also, in the address bar, the url has doubled the last letter. What i mean is that I have the url “localhost/mvwfashion” as the export site. Then i have “localhost/mvwfashion2” as the import site. While importing and it gets stuck on “Restoring Database”, the url is changed to “localhost/mvwfashion22”. When i go to “localhost/mvwfashion2”, it redirects me to “localhost/mvwfashion22”.. Still nothing displays though….

    So I ask, what is the issue? And what is the solution?
