Hanging on Unpacking for plugins and themes

    This has been going on a while and its driving me nuts I cannot figure out why its doing it. We have upped the memory limit, we have reinstalled WP, it happens on every account on 2 severs. It will hang at unpacking for themes and plugins but it still completely installs them it just never says it… any ideas? I also tried changing file permissions with no resolution to this issue.

    Try adding this to the top of your .htaccess file: AddType x-mapp-php5 .php
