Hanging on 'unpacking archive…'

    I am having the same issue as reported elsewhere – the import works fine, but then the screen hangs on the ‘unpacking archive’ notice. Arrows keep rotating, but the stop import button is now unresponsive (won’t go red on hover and you can’t click it)

    I tried using the temporary fix from the dropbox link provided in the other post, but with no success – it gives the same result.

    I am trying to upload to a site hosted on heart internet

    Any clues? I have the unlimited version and I’m stuck on a job right now because of this…

    We have been reported the same issue by users hosted with https://heartinternet.co.uk/ and are working on the new version to fix it.

    Do you mind rolling back to our old version for now?

    I did an export with v4.2 and try to import now, but it keeps hanging in “unpacking archive”. Unfortunately, rolling back to the old versio is not an option for me, since the old site is gone…

    Any suggestions?

    Another report of 4.2 stopping at the “Unpacking archive” stage, and the 2.0.5 download above working fine. I work at a web host – if you need any help diagnosing the issue I’d be glad to answer questions or provide an account to test with.
