Handpicked products query extremely slow

Sorry to hear that is taking such a long time. If you set up the same products using the product shortcode, does the query take roughly the same amount of time?

What is the shortcode format for the handpicked product block? In my 10k+ product store, the query never finishes, so I would like to be able to pick the product manually using the shortcode and skip the GUI altogether?

You can skip the products block and use a shortcode block. The options for the [products] shortcode will be listed at https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/#section-6
