How many users will be able to be handled by Bug Library does depend on WordPress, as well as on the hosting service where WordPress is running.

Bug Library itself just renders some data on the front end using shortcodes, and lets users submit new issues or comment on existing issues.

One avenue I might suggest to assess load handling might be to ask a similar question under one of the most popular plugins such as BuddyPress. Since the idea of Buddypress is to have a lot of people logged in at the same time and sharing data, they should have a better idea on the subject.

Do you already have a large community visiting your site where you want to add this system? Or do you have a very popular product for which you are looking at tracking bugs?

I see you opened two threads on this topic, can you close the second one?

    Cheers.

    Hi Yannick,

Thanks a lot for the information. We were trying to use it for out products, which may be used by many people. As of now we are targeting a Good plugin which can do the job for us like. many user can comment, Raise a bug on the product and user management is from wordpress. Like user should have a account in wordpress to create the bug etc…
so No large community as of now, but will definately used by many people so i was just concerned which is the good tool which can handle the load. and how much stable the tool is… how much capable the tool is for bug tracking for a developer site.. where in a user can raise concern for the product(create a bug)and admin can take some action..
Appreciate your quick response. thanks again.

If you can suggest some other tool than BBpress, Big-Library then that would also do..

    Thanks.

Yannick, Never Mind But I didn’t find BuddyPress as a bug tracking tool or plugin? can you please clarify

Buddypress is not a bug tracking tool. I was mentioning it as a tool WordPress plugin that can be used to build a site capable of handling a lot of traffic.

I suggest you try Bug Library and see if it fits your needs. If you need any enhancements, you can write them here and I can see about implementing them.

I am not aware of other WordPress bug tracking plugins, but that does not mean that there are none, just that I never saw one.

Good, Bug-Libary seems to be ok for us. But just a small concern. Is there an email functionality available in Bug-Library or email notification in WordPress once someone replies or comments.

    Thanks a lot.

Bug Library can take care of sending notification e-mails when new bugs are reported. As for comments, that uses the built-in e-mail notification service from WordPress.
