• Good for some things such as exposing the necessary SEO work required. Too many updates and too much work required on updates as it often crashes our site on upgrade and requires manual intervention. Slow for bug fixes. We use both free and premium versions (on different sites, of course) Free version is better value for money. Interaction with other plugins need careful attention, we’ve managed to get one of our sites deindexed on Google because of this issue.

  • Hi @renners,

    Thanks for your feedback.

We are always happy to receive comments from our users as they help us continue improving the plugin.

We test the Yoast SEO updates with as many other plugins/themes as possible. With the large number of themes and plugins available in the WordPress community, we simply cannot test against everything. We also have more information on plugin compatibility testing here: https://kb.yoast.com/kb/plugin-compatibility-tests/

That said, our developers work continuously on improving the plugin and every two weeks we release a new plugin update. These frequent updates allow us to stay current with new features, bugfixes, SEO developments, compatibility with other plugins and more.

If you’ve detected a bug or found a compatibility issue with any of your plugins or your theme, please submit a bug report to our plugin repository so that our developers can look further into the conflict. This KB article describes how to write a good bug report.
