Hamburger menu sometimes not working – desktop and phone

    I’ve tried switching off and restarting plugins to find what’s causing this but I’m stuck.

    As of today, sometimes, but quite often, when I click on the hamburger menu, rather than open up to show the menu (as it usually does) it simply moves the page up a small amount and adds a # to the URL in the browser

    eg example.com would become example.com/# and the menu wouldn’t appear.

    If I refresh the screen it ‘might’ be ok for a few more menu clicks, then the problem recurs.

    I’ll carry on switching my plugins in and out but if there’s any suggestions about what could be causing this I’d appreciate help.

    FWIW the plugins on this site appear the same as the other sites I’ve built with OceanWP and they’re all working perfectly well.

    I checked your site and the menu is working fine. If it is not working, then it could be a plugin conflict or cache issue.

    Yes, it is/was a plugin issue so I ended up switching it off for now.

    (should have updated on here – sorry)

    It was Async JavaScript, but having just reactived it I can see that it seems to be working ok again.

    I’ll keep an eye on it & let you know if there’s a problem.

    (I realise it’s not for you to fix their plugin but FYI in case others have a similar issue)
