I just installed your plugin and cannot get the hamburger menu to work on mobile devices. I’ve tried setting the “Do not stick element when screen smaller than” option to 600, 1024, and tried leaving it blank. The hamburger menu will not open at all.

  • Do you have a link to your site so I can check what might be wrong?

Thank you for your reply, Mark. Is there some way I can email you the link so that it’s not posted on this public forum?

You can email it to marksenff at GMail, and I can then take a look.

Thank you! Email sent. Let me know if you’ll need to log into the site.

    Hi Mark,
Have you had a chance to take a look at the site yet?

Checking in again. I really need to get this problem resolved.

Apologies for the delay. I received your email but when I check the link to your site, it only shows “Under Development”, so I’m not able to see anything.

I replied to your email early this morning and just now realized that my reply was sent to your “no reply” email address (instead of your gmail addy).

I had to put the site in maintenance mode. Please try now and let me know as soon as you’ve checked this out so that I can put it back into maintenance mode.

    Thank you!

It looks like the hamburger menu is an entirely different element than the one you’ve selected as the sticky element (.nav-primary), which is why it won’t work.

You might want to make the entire header sticky instead, and select .site-header > .wrap as the sticky element in the plugin.

It works when I use the entire header, but all they want to be sticky is the navigation – nav-primary. Does this need to be an All or None kind of thing?

That’s right — my plugin can only make one item sticky.

Since your desktop navigation menu and your hamburger menu are two entirely separate elements, it can only be one or the other, at least with my plugin.

Thank you, Mark. It’s a shame that I need to make the entire header sticky, but I’m sure they’ll understand. Personally, if it was up to me, I wouldn’t make the navigation sticky at all; Not for this site.
