Thank you for creating this plugin and being active in its support forum. ??

    Temporary demo site
    https://goo.gl/1BrnX6

    WordPress 4.0
    Genesis 2.1.2
    Genesis Club Lite 1.3.1

No other themes or plugins are even installed, let alone activated.

One primary menu activated containing Home and three pages.
Hamburger menu device threshold set to 800px.

When I drag my desktop browser window under the threshold width, a hamburger icon appears above the regular Genesis menu.

The regular Genesis responsive menu stays on screen. Clicking the hamburger doesn’t fold the menu or do anything at all.

Behaviour is the same across different browsers and on mobile.

Expected behaviour is for the hamburger menu to appear when browser is less than 800px wide. The regular Genesis responsive menu to disappear at the same time. And when I click the hamburger icon, the menu items should appear again.

    What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for your time and reply!

Same thing happened to me. I kept playing around with it, thinking there was a conflict with another plug-in (although I only had Akismet and Newsman activated) – so I finally deactived this plugin and re-actived it. It started working beautifully as did the rest of the features!

No clue why or how. Give it a try.

    @tfmwa,

There may be a plugin/theme conflict here as both are trying to operate a responsive menu.

If your Genesis child theme already has a responsive menu then it is easiest not to use the plugin for this.

Most child themes have a fixed cut-off at the 600px.

You can of course edit the functions.php and (carefully) comment out the responsive menu support and then you can use the plugin without any risk of a conflict.

The plugin offers a more flexible responsive menu than what typically comes with the theme:

    • allows you to set the threshold at which the hamburger appears/li>
    • allows the menu so be placed below, to the left or to the right of the page
    • allows different placement for menus in primary navigation, secondary navigation and header right widget area
