    Hello,

Half my images on my website are not loading and do not appear in my media library.

The images result in a 404 as shown here: https://imgur.com/a/hKwymKg

They are loading from a URL like: https://i1.wp.com/justgotravelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Agnes-waters-1770-justgotravelling.com_.jpg?resize=480%2C650&ssl=1, which seems to be causing the errors.

I contacted my hosting support and they said to get in touch with Jetpack due to the following:

I think I found what caused the missing images, because of the wp.com URL I had mentioned, it’s this Jetpack feature:
    jetpack.com/support/site-accelerator/
And I see it uses .webp, so I suggest you disable it, too as it’s most likely interfering with CloudFlare
You may check with Jetpack’s support if you wish since the images are not loading through those i2.wp.com, i0.wp.com links

I have disabled the jetpack plugin and cleared cache but my images are still not loading/are lost.

I have also noticed a new Jetpack 9.2 update recently installed, could this have something to do with it?

    Please help,

    Thank you

    Hello, there.

I do see that you’ve previously connected Jetpack to your site, which is great. However, there seems to be an issue with that connection right now – Not everything seems to be working properly.

Would you be able to try the following exact steps for me?

    1. From the wp-admin dashboard of your site, please go to Jetpack > Dashboard > Connections > “Manage site connection” from your left-hand menu.

    2. Click the “Disconnect” button. If it’s already disconnected, you can skip to the next step.

    3. Deactivate your Jetpack plugin by heading to Plugins > Installed Plugins and finding “Jetpack by WordPress.com.” After a few moments, activate it.

    4. Back in Jetpack > Dashboard > Connections > “Manage site connection,” Click the “Set up Jetpack” button and continue through the approval process.

That being said, it does appear that Jetpack’s image CDN is not currently active on your site, so all of the missing images that are showing on the page right now are actually missing, such as:

    https://justgotravelling.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Agnes-waters-1770-justgotravelling.com_.jpg

For example, the “Agnes-waters” image above is the one you gave in your example – Jetpack loads it over the CDN with a URL like “https://i1.wp.com,” but if the original image is gone, like in this case, it will be unable to load it. You will need to re-upload that image or change it on your site in order for it to load and for Jetpack’s CDN to catch it.

Please let us know the results of this troubleshooting and we can go from there. Thanks!
