Many things could’ve happened there. For starters did it happen when you activated the plug-in or when you actually turned on safe mode?
If it happened when you activated the plug-in, Then yes, maybe you were unfortunate enough to have a major conflict of some sort, In which case I’d much appreciate any PHP errors you may have had so maybe I can identify the conflict and add some safety measures.
If it happened when you actually turned on safe mode, could it be that you turned on site safe mode? There are two modes one only you and the other one for the site (everyone). In all cases you simply deactivate it and your site returns to as before.
In any case sorry if it caused you extra work, that’s not the intention of this plugin, quire the opposite. Any more deailed feedback as we actively take measures to avoid conflicts when possible.
