Sorry to hear that you found issues with this plugin.

Generally, Unable to delete the plugin is not a plugin-specific issue and might have to do with the file permissions or cache. Did you ask your hosting provider that you’re unable to delete the plugin from within WP Admin?

when I started seeing how rude this developer was I decided to not waste my time.

Can you please tell me what you’ve noticed and how you came to know that I am rude developer?

Sorry, but I should not have to ask my host to delete something or why a WP plugin won’t delete. It is a bug in your software. Out of 10 installs, only 1 would delete properly. The rest had to be deleted manually.

In regards to your temperament, just read your replies to people.

If anyone is thinking of downloading this plugin I would strongly recommend against it as it does not delete properly if you choose to try something different.

I agree that you shouldn’t have to ask your host to delete something for you but you can at least ask them why you’re unable to delete the plugin from within WP-Admin? They are the only one who can fix any file-permission related issues. Did you also check error logs (of the time) when you tried to delete the plugin?

This plugin doesn’t contain any code that prevents it from being deleted. There might be some other reasons such as file permissions, cache or any other kind of theme/plugin conflict that might stop it from being deleted.

The plugin team is comprised of real people who do their best. They do an amazing job too. If someone put code into a plugin with an update that prevented it from being deactivated or deleted then that would be looked into and if true, there would be some very real consequences for that plugin.

The initial release of a plugin is checked by people. But updates are not. There are 55,000+ plugins in the directory here. It would be punitive users, authors and the plugins team if all updates were checked manually. But as I said, if that did happen (and I have no reason to think it did here) then that would be reported to the plugins team.

Originally I was just changing to another plugin. I was just planning on deleting this one and moving on. The review is because the plugin does not delete as it is supposed to.

Looking at the actual code, I can see nothing in this plugin that would happen when it is “deleted”. There is some code to adjust the rewrite rules on deactivation, which is correct and proper for any plugin that adjusts those.

If you’re having trouble deleting plugins, you probably have a permissions issue or some other issue with your site specifically, most likely unrelated to this plugin.
