HackRepair.com Blacklist of User agent

  • Hi,

    There is function API key conect HackRepair.com . May i know the blacklist added here is reported and checked as blacklist? Or any user (have account on HackRepair.com) reported, then the website will be auto added as blacklist?

    Hi.
    iThemes Security have a setting which will auto “Block” all user-agent, which is reported by HackRepair.com.

    I would like to know:
    1) User-gent that ithemes used from HackRepair.com . This is checked and surely they are bad-user-agent?
    OR
    2) Just someone “example: me” send a report to HackRepair.com that “wordpress.com” is a bad user agent, then iThemes will automatic add adwordpress.com to bad user agent without any confirm?

    1. User-agents were carefully screened, user-agents are periodically removed.

    2. There is no automation to the list. User-agents were carefully screened by a person.

    If you find a given user-agent is causing any unexpected issues you may delete the user-agent text in question from the entry within your .htaccess file.

    Alternately, you may uncheck and save the use HackRepair.com Blacklist to remove the entire list.
