Hacker Friendly Macros for WP

  • I know there are a lot of macro implementations out there, but I really wanted something that was more hacker friendly than the existing crop of GUI based plugins. I wanted something that was both easily embedded in posts and easy to extend in code.

    I wrote an article on creating a simple macro coding plugin for WP that allows you to write “@falbum(11223344)” to display a completely Lightbox driver flickr photo set, or “@amazon(112233)” to embed an amazon associates linked ad for a product.
