Hacked Sites Plugins?

  • Yesterday all of my wp blogs were hacked. I have many other websites too which were not affected and suggests the hackers did not get into my server. The only thing I can think of that the blogs had in common was that they had the same plgins installed on them. It is puzzling me how they got into my wp accounts (my hosts say they got in using the passwords but I have never divulged this info to anyone) Do you think the plugins could be a way in?

    Any ideas/solutions/help very much appreciated.

    Please assume that I am not that technically minded when responding.

  • if you don’t mentioned the plugins you are using, it would be hard to guess.

    there are at least 6-7 plugins that are vulnerable to hackers.
