• Any help is greatly appreciated!

I just recently got around to trying to upgrade an old (2.85) WP blog to 3.01, and in the process found out that they had evidently been hacked. Everything looked fine with the blog, but links were being redirected to some shady websites.

Manually upgrading to 3.01 for them didn’t seem to get rid of the hack.

I then deleted EVERYTHING from the server, decided to start completely fresh — deleted their old themes, images, everything.

Try to re-install 3.01 and this is what I get after installing:

Clicking on some links will still take you to not-good websites. Also, notice the blog isn’t even showing the TwentyTen theme header, although the header is absolutely in the right folder and the path seems to be correct.

    Any help?
