• Could anyone else who is having the alert

    “Hack Tool, Please Contact Support”

on their site and is registered with ONE.com please message below as I have tried to bring this to their attention three separate occasions and they are adamant its not them!

(In doing so they nicely deactivated all my plugins and set my site back 3 days which is great – much appreciated!)

  • If this is a host issue, there really isn’t anything anyone here can do to help you with it. Numerous other people on one.com have reported it but that doesn’t change that it’s a hosting issue.

    Hi WPyogi,

I agree it is a hosting issue but it would help if we could all get in one place a number of site owners and show a number of sites having the same issue to the domain so they would take notice!

By simply getting people to post on here that they have had the issue will help!

I’ve had the same problem with one of my sites.

One.com support asked me to add this code to the .htaccess file

    Header set Set-Cookie wordpress_test_cookie=WP+Cookie+check

I added it after # BEGIN WordPress

And I can now login to the control panel. No explanation as to the cause but think it’s something to do with One.com blocking brute force password attacks.
