Hack – Random Post order

Hey!

Just wondering if you are able to display posts in a category page in a random order? I tried it using this code https://www.wprecipes.com/how-to-randomize-posts-order , but it displayed all categories on a page, not the category I was on.

In the above link there is an option to add the cat id to the query, but I have at least 30 categories, so wondering if there is a quicker way to do it instead of doing conditional tags for each category.
