Hack in anonymous posting, but only as draft

I want to be able for anyone in our organization to post information, but without requiring authentication. I would also like for these posts to be saved as drafts and not published.
Those of you who know WP better than I, does this seem like a reasonable hack? If I can’t get this to work then WP probably won’t be usable for us.
