I installed wordpress a couple of weekes ago (version 4.1.1) and after two weeks or so I integrated google anaytics. Analytics showed me immediately a lot of traffic, but to links to pornwebsites (example: ..
    [removed]).

I stripped it all, removed all the files from the FTP, deleted the database, made all new passwords for everything, changed the secret keys. I even took a new theme, because I thought it might have been that. I exported my posts and made everything new. I installed version 4.1.2 yesterday, created a new database and imported my files. I also installed the Wordfence plugin again (did that also before I stripped everything) to check the traffic.

Initially it looked good, no traffic for some hours on analytics, but today at 7am I had one visitor again. Wordfence does not detect it (it detects , but analytics showed again one page visit to the above mentioned link.
My web address where I installed WordPress is: https://www.elskuiper.nl/blog

Can anybody tell me how I can get rid of this?

Were those just showing up in your click stats? Was there any trace of those links actually in your site?

If they weren’t in your site, it could have just been Click Spam, where bots or compromised browser extensions leave behind fake click records.

Thanks! I never heard of this, but did some reading and I think this might be case for my website. Trying to filter them out and see how it works after that.

It could also be tag-farming, I have suffered this, sites take your GA tag and paste it in their site, you see their stats and click on the link = traffic for them at no cost

the only way to rid it is to dump your GA code and start again, or go to a better stats app like clicky.com

    You’re welcome!

I’ve noticed this on a site, and thought “ughhhh”?! Thanks for the enlightenment

    Glad I could help. ??

ekuiper, how did the filters work for you? Have you been able to solve this problem?

I have the same issue, with similar links as your getting. They show up as pages on my website. And it seems to be increasing.

Just wondering if you’ve made headway.
