H1 tag is missing from the home page.

I am using Avada theme with Yoast plugin. The plugin is fully configured.

I do not have this issue on any other webpages or blog posts.

  • Hi @icemanau

    Thanks for reaching out.

I understand that the H1 tag is missing on the homepage of your site.

Please reach out to your web developer to set the H1 tag on your homepage.

    Hi @rohans123

    Thank you.

If I can set the H1 tag in Yost plugin then I can do this myself. Why do I need to go to a developer?

I seacrhed for this on Yoast’s website but could not find anything related. Can you point me to a related artilce on this?

Has this issue been reported before?

Going to a developer means that he will write a customise piece of HTML which I would like to avoid.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello @icemanau,

Since the homepage is developed with an Avada theme, have you considered speaking with them? Adding a <H1> tag is not a feature of the Yoast SEO plugin. This is about how you designed the page, and your theme is responsible for the design and HTML elements, not an SEO plugin.

    I hope that helps!
