    Hi Im using GTranslate on my website: https://www.nanopilates.com.br

    I have a problem with a wordpress plugin that uses Google Translate to translate pages. It appears a h1 tag with the text “Original text” (in portuguese “Texto original”) and I don’t know how can I remove it.

    I would like to remove the h1 tag, so I am not interested in CSS changes. Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

    I can see that you are using our free plugin which doesn’t give you any SEO benefits. It doesn’t add any h1 tags till you change the language. And if you already know, search engines do not change the language, since the resources for the language translation are blocked for indexing. So it doesn’t affect your SEO in any way and search engines do not know anything about the h1 tag added by Google Translate widget.

    In that case the translations can be indexed and your page will be translated as it is without additional tags.
