H1 “Privacy Overview”

    After update, plugin sets in all the pages of the site: “Privacy Overview” as H1 tag. How do I remove this?

  • Can confirm H1 is now appearing for Privacy Overview text. Please change the heading type.

    A short term workaround is to remove the heading text from the field and place it in the body text. (Found in the Privacy Overview menu option)

    Yes I noticed this on recent SEO audit. Needs fixing as bad for SEO.

    had to remove it manually in public/views/cookie-law-info_popup_content.php

    Thanks @anandgiri for the file location. Saved me some time! I can’t believe they have this! Hopefully they update it soon.

    Confirming the same this. This is super annoying, most likely the words bug I have seen in a long time!

    This is really poor, we only just discovered this across ALL of our websites as we opted to use this plugin and it’s causing from real SEO issues

    Hi everyone,

    We have reverted back the changes and defaulted the tag to H4. We have also included a hook using which you can customize the tag as per your SEO requirement.
