H1 Header centring not working using text-align

Hi im using the Spirited Lite theme and i want to centre the h1 of my page.

I searched and tried many other methods but none are working.

Im using {text-align:center;}

And i still can’t get it to centre

I want the sentence right at the top to be centred.

Also i want to centre the menu instead of it being more on the right of the webpage im really unsure on how to do this?
