H Tags suddenly not displayed in Internet Explorer (Cufon?)

  • Hello!

    All of the sudden, none of the H title tags are displaying on PrioSoft.com. This site was built by customizing the Devo Base theme and the only reason I’m guessing it is a cufon issue is because when I view the source of the home page, I see that it calls the following:

    …./themes/devobase2/lib/js/cufon-yui.js”>
    …./themes/devobase2/lib/js/Myriad_Pro_600.font.js”>
    …./themes/devobase2/lib/js/devo.cufon.js”>

    I have very little understanding of cufon – except that I know that it displays a font in a more fancy manner.

    Does anyone know how to fix this problem and get the H-tags to display again?

    What version of IE?

    Are you sure you’re not in some sort of compatibility mode? (F12 to check)

    When I Hit F12, a DOM Explorer opens at the bottom of the screen and there is a line that reads: <body class=”browserIE browserIE9″> Keep in mind I am using IE11.

    Adding the site to the Compatibility list in IE Tools does nothing.

    Are you able to see the H tags in your version of IE?

    Yep I can see them in IE11 with Windows 8. Can you talk to your theme’s vendors about this?

    Ok – I’ve just discovered that the client is using IE9 and does not see the H tags. One specifically is right on the home page. There is an H1 tag that reads:

    Get PrioSoft’s easy-to-use Construction Estimating Software to create accurate construction estimates in hours – not days

    I have sent a message to the creators of the Devo Base theme but have not received a reply. Can anyone help to resolve this issue?
