    Your web server is not Apache. You web server is Nginx. Nobody can update the conf page of nginx so you should update the conf manually. Please have a look the following article.

    Compared to WP Super Cache approach, it stores gzipped files cache near non-gzipped, which is better and why?

    It feels like serving a million of static binary files (already gzipped) should be faster than getting static .html and gzipping it as runtime million times. Am I wrong?

    Super cache is save only the .html file as a zipped file. Super cache does not store the js and css files as zipped.

    If all js,css,png,gif etc. files are zipped, it may be better but only zip html file cannot be different from zip by apache.

    I purchased Premium version, my server is Apache but regardless what I do… GZIP does not enable on my website.
    Please let me know what I’m missing.
