    Hello,

    I am trying to enable gzip compression with hummingbird plugin but everytime i get an error saying that html compression not working. I checked .htaccess as well and code is all there. Other type of compressions are working and only html is having issue. Can you please help me on this.

    Hi @varun1986,

    If only “HTML” compression isn’t working, then I’m afraid it has to do with either one of the existing plugins causing a conflict or your server isn’t allowed to overriding it.

    Did you check with your hosting provider regarding this? Could you please bring this into their attention and share the code added by the plugin in the .htaccess file and see what exactly is causing it?

    If they can confirm it should be working fine. Could you please temporarily deactivate all the plugins except Hummingbird and then check whether “HTML” gets activated or not?

    You’ll have to click the “Re-check Status” button under Hummingbird > Gzip Compression after deactivating the plugins to ensure Hummingbird could fetch the latest data.
