GZIP Compression option breaks after a few rounds of troubleshooting

    Hey, dev team! I guess this is more of a bug report than a support question.

    I’ve been trying PageSpeed Ninja on two Baver Builder sites in the past weeks and it doesn’t work on either, unfortunately. My most recent problems are on staging.mwuerth.de:

    – When “Minify JavaScript” is enabled, the code parsing in Beaver Builder’s CSS and JavaScript options breaks.

    – After trying some different configurations, now the “Enable Compression” function no longer works. I have it enabled, but I still get the “Enable gzip compression” errors on GTMetrix.

    I will keep an eye on this plugin, because on the whole, I think you guys are doing a great job and I hope you can get the kinks worked out soon.

    It would be awesome if you had a bug reporting thing for users so we can help with the beta testing.

    Quick update: I should have looked closer at the responses from GTMetrix (i.e., PageSpeed and YSlow). The gzip errors specifically refer to the .js files, which are now no longer compressed. So it makes sense.

    If you guys are able to find some fix that leaves Beaver Builder’s parsing unscathed, it would be awesome. In the meantime, I will go ahead and whitelist .js files by trial and error until I get the right ones.
