    I am trying to find the best plugin to optimize my site. This one seems nice, but I have a problem. I was using GZIP compression through htaccess file, it was working fine, but when I activated this plugin, it removed Gzip compression… I tried to rewrite the htaccess file but the

    Hi,

    Yes, it’s pie-experiences.com, but as the plugin is not working, I don’t want to let it activated. For now, I am using WordPress Fastest Cache and Gzip activated through htaccess.

    Hi,

    Our plugin first checks if GZIP is already enabled on your server, which is now the case with most of the major web hosting providers. If it is already enabled on the server, our plugin doesn’t need to do anything. But if your server doesn’t have GZIP enabled, our plugin will enable it using the apache module (mod_deflate) or the Nginx module (ngx_http_gzip_module) by adding the required code to the htaccess file of your WordPress server.

    If your server doesn’t have GZIP enabled by default and our plugin cannot do it with htaccess, it shows a warning notification in the plugin dashboard.

    If you have the opportunity could you check that the GZIP code was added code to the htaccess file?

    Yes, I checked, code was added to the htacces file. But when I check the website, gzip compression is not working, very weird…
